Healthy Dent County will be having their Seventh Annual Casino Night Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Salem Community Center @ the Armory.
This year’s event would not be possible without many local businesses sponsoring the event with American Family – Jonah Schafer, Agent being the main event sponsor. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with gaming from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
The event features game tables much like the ones you will find in a real casino, as well as professional dealers to run the games.
Event ticket holders will receive $10,000 in chips to play the casino games of their choice throughout the evening. Traditional games such as craps, roulette and blackjack are available, alongside a cash bar. We've added an additional blackjack table and reservations are available. Eliminate the hassle of arriving early to grab a table. Now, you can reserve a table for you and your friends for just $100.
Again this year, we will have horse racing throughout the evening. Winners of these races will receive special tickets for a drawing to win a stay at Crown Lake Resort in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Two bedroom, two bath condo, full kitchen for Sunday, July 6 through Saturday, July 11.
Guests are asked to come dressed in Red Carpet Glamour themed attire and receive an extra $1,000 in gaming money. If event tickets are purchased by Oct. 27, participants will receive an additional $5,000 in gaming money. At the end of the evening, prizes are drawn after exchanging gaming money for tickets.
Some prizes include a $300 Wal-Mart gift card, Virtual Reality Metaquest, three piece lounge chair set, and much more.
“Having professional dealers makes the gaming experience so much fun. We expect over 200 people to attend this year’s event. That’s why we have ordered more tables. The Red Carpet Glamour theme gives everyone the opportunity to dress up and have fun, while raising money for a great cause,” Healthy Dent County Executive Director Sherry Lea said.
