The Lady Tigers lost to Willow Springs 2-0; defeated Lesterville 2-0; beat Gainesville 2-0 and lost to Willow Springs in a rematch 2-0 (25-10, 25-20).
Also last week Salem defeated Thayer 3-2 (23-25, 25-16, 17-25, 25-17, 15-12) at home Thursday, Oct. 2. The Lady Tiger junior varsity squad won 2-0 (25-7, 25-16).
Tuesday, Sept. 30 at home Salem lost to Willow Springs 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-16). The Lady Tigers won the jayvee match 2-0 (25-9, 25-22).
Monday, Sept. 29 the Lady Tigers traveled to St. Clair and lost 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-10). Salem won the jayvee match 2-0 (25-12, 25-22) and St. Clair won the freshman match 2-0 (25-19, 25-16).
The Salem junior varsity team finished second in the Potosi JV Tournament Saturday, splitting with Steelville 23-25, 25-17; losing to Hillsboro 25-19, 25-19; beating Potosi 25-13, 25-18 and losing to Hillsboro 2-0.
This week the Lady Tigers were scheduled to play at Bunker Monday, at Cabool Tuesday and are to host Licking Thursday (5 p.m.).
