Charlotte Dennon, New York One (Mayrin Ramirez Briceno) reports from Central Park as Santa crashed his sleigh.
Snow begins to fall over Central Park to the delight of those in attendance. Daniel Jennings sings, “A Christmas Song (Reprise)” as a New Yorker (Elizabeth Stokes) chases the “flakes”.
Charlie (Peyton Jones) checks Buddy’s (Westin Stites) progress in the toy workshop.
Walter Hobbs (David Culp) is excited for the book idea coming to life.

Jovie (Autumn Culp) gives love advice in “Never Fall in Love with an Elf” after Buddy forgets their date.

The Song & Stage Club presented Elf Jr. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in four shows at Salem Civic Theater.
The cast and crew included Ian Welch, Westin Stites, Peyton Jones, Ally Beck, Bellah Wilber, Jacey Griffith, Adalyn Dunn, Paisley Nash, Daniel Jennings, Eavie Wynn, David Culp, Phoebe Taylor, Brooke Letchworth, Autumn Culp, Lexi Colburn, Emmalee Camden, Elizabeth Stokes, Ally Stites, Ayvah Ellerman, Kate Letchworth, Lily Booth, Mayrin Ramirez Briceno, Olivia Bieker, and Ayden Brewer.
The musical featured 13 scenes.
“It has been an incredible journey bringing this heartwarming story to life with our talented students. I have been overwhelmed with their enthusiasm for the art of theater from the first rehearsal to performance. We have worked hard every moment to bring you laughter, joy, and a lot of holiday cheer,” shared Diana Welch, director.
Shannon Phelps served as Music Director and Choreographer; Katie Culp, Set Director and Props Coordinator; and Nathan Phelps, Audio and Lighting Designer.
