The Salem News and Action Graphics offices at 500 N. Washington St. will be closed to the general public effective 8 a.m. Monday, April 6. The Salem News is an exempt business that will continue to publish its print edition each week and maintain thesalemnewsonline.com and our social COVID-19 page that has no paywall, thesalemnewsonline.com/covid-19.
We appreciate all the support of readers and customers during this time. We are closing the office to the public in keeping with the goals of the stay-at-home order issued by Governor Mike Parson and in order to keep our employees and customers safe.
Customers can be seen by appointment.
On Tuesday morning when newspapers arrive, staff will hand deliver them curbside at The Salem News office, as we have done the past two weeks. Papers will continue to be available at normal locations around Salem and arrive in home by post office delivery Wednesday.
To renew or get a new subscription:
• Call (573) 729-4126 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday
• For in-county subscriptions mail a check for $35 with your name, mailing address, email address and phone number to The Salem News, P.O. Box 798, Salem, MO 65560 or place it in the mail slot in our front office door that is checked regularly by the staff.
