The Green Forest R-II board of directors held a regular meeting May 21, during which it approved the purchase of a 2022 school bus with a trade-in of a 2015.
In attendance included board members Jereme Patton, Kyle Case, Amber Toman, and Wes Hampton. Also in attendance included superintendent Conrad Prugh, principal Kriste Crocker, Marsha Gabel, Brooke Sanders, and Natalie Todd.
The board discussed the preliminary 2025-26 budget and Salem Athletics Coop, and it received a CSIP update. It also approved unanimously the purchase of a 2022 school bus with trade-in of a 2015, costing $78,500.
A building report was provided by Crocker.
The board also approved the following:
• Agenda and April board meeting minutes
• May bills, June payroll, and budget report
• In closed session, the board approved student attendance waivers, along with an extra duty position.
