Serious injuries were reported Tuesday resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred State Route Z approximately eight miles south of Salem, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2014 Honda CRV, driven by Mary E. Moser, 31, of Jadwin, was northbound at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Moser and an infant passenger received serious injuries in the crash. Moser was transported by Mercy Lifeline to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. The infant was transported by EMS to Salem Memorial District Hospital.
The Honda sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
The highway patrol was assisted on the call by the Dent County Sheriff's Office and the Jadwin Fire Department.
