Funeral service for Robert G. “Bobby” Dodson, of Rolla, was February 5, 2018 at Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla.
Interment was in the Rolla City Cemetery.
Mr. Dodson was born November 16, 1935 in Shannon County to Rufus Marion and Gladys (Young) Dodson. He married Mary Jane Gibson July 4, 1982. Mr. Dodson died January 31, 2018 at the age of 82 years.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Lou Pinkston, Rolla; brothers, Marion Dodson, Reid Springs; George Dodson and wife, Mary, O’Fallon; daughter, Teresa Abert and husband, Ron, Marine, Illinois; stepson, Phillip Borthacyre, Rolla; grandchildren, Kathy Abert, Beth Allen, Anthony Borthacyre and Gabrielle Borthacyre; and one great-grandchild, Blake Allen.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; brother, Billy Dodson; sister, Carolyn Pinkston; grandson, Phillip Borthacyre II; brothers-in-law, Wallace and Robert Pinkston; and sister-in-law, Judith Dodson.
