Funeral service for Wilma Mae Woolman was January 6, 2017 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Pastor Robert Roberts and Pastor Bobby Mathis officiating.
Interment was in the Yates Cemetery.
Mrs. Woolman was born January 19, 1920 in Omaha, Ark., to Johnny and Flora (Hicks) Wright. She married William “Bill” Walter Woolman February 21, 1938. They were the parents of six children. Mrs. Woolman died January 2, 2017 in Ava at the age of 96 years.
Survivors include her children, Paul and Abigail Woolman, Conroe, Texas; June and Billy Case, Lecoma; Clifford Woolman, Ava; Katherine and Don Hartley, Columbia; Billy Woolman, Lake Spring; and Betty and Robert Sprick, Hartville; 25 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 64 great-great-grandchildren; one special niece, Diana Woolman, Springfield; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; grandson, William Lloyd Woolman; great-grandson, Clifford Woolman III; great-great-grandson, Coal Hunter; three sisters, Minnie Anderson, Lola Graham and Della Wright; brothers, Roby Wright, Louie Wright and Jim Wright.
