Funeral service for David Alan Dittman was December 27, 2018 at Salem Church of Christ with J.J. Tune and AJ Seay officiating. Eulogy was read by John Casey, Mallorie Dittman read some memories and shared a special song for her Dad. Arrangements were under the direction of James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem.
Interment was in the Green Forest Cemetery, Salem.
Pallbearers were AJ Seay, Shannon St. John, John Casey, JD Steelman, Jimmy Benefield, Barth Thornhill, Brad Lunn and Casey Jadwin.
Mr. Dittman was born November 7, 1969 in Washington to Karl and Patricia (Schafer) Dittman. Mr. Dittman died December 22, 2018 at the age of 49 years.
Survivors include his children, Mallorie Dittman and Dawson Dittman, Salem; parents, Karl and Pat Dittman, Salem; grandfather, John Schafer, Salem; mother of his children, Stephanie Dittman, Salem; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Perry and Roberta Dittman; and Esther Schafer.
Mr. Dittman attended Church of Christ and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #225 AF & AM where he had served in various chairs as well as Master.
