The human skeletal remains found Jan. 26 in a wooded area west of the Walmart in Salem have been identified as those of a Licking man, according to a news release received today from Salem Police Chief Keith Steelman.

Tests conducted by medical examiners in Columbia identified the remains as Danny M. Fleming, 49, Steelman said.
