The Salem High football squad fell to 0-2 by losing to Knob Noster 25-7 in non-conference action Friday, Sept. 2 at Schuchardt Stadium.
The Knob Noster Panthers took a 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Each team would score a touchdown in the second quarter, and Knob Noster went into intermission with a 13-7 edge.
Salem’s offense couldn’t mount a scoring drive over the second half, while the Panthers added one more touchdown.
The Tigers are scheduled to open SCA play Friday, Sept. 9 by hosting Houston. Kickoff at Schuchardt Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
