From Jan. 15 through Jan. 30, the Salem Senior High School Rotary Interact Club participated in the Yuda Bands Project, a fundraiser that supports children’s education in Guatemala and Zimbabwe. The program raises money by selling handmade bracelets for $10 each, with every purchase contributing directly to school fees and giving children the opportunity to attend school and pursue a brighter future.

Members of Rotary Interact worked together throughout the fundraiser, taking turns selling bracelets during lunch periods. Students from all grade levels lined up to purchase the bracelets, showing strong support for the cause. Through this experience, students learned the importance of giving back and the impact that small acts of kindness can have.
