The Green Forest 4-H Club held its regular club meeting 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at First Baptist Church.
At this meeting, our members brought in food to put together the Thanksgiving baskets. Two members gave project reports: Kohen gave a report on the 4-H Council meeting, and Kynlee gave a report on the county-wide recognition night.
We talked about what it meant to be a member in good standing and how to achieve it. We went through which projects had leaders and which ones needed a leader still.
Our club decided to have pizza party at our next meeting, while we work on our Christmas community service project. We will also have a tree for Trees ‘N Trains and have been invited to participate in the Dent County 4-H float for the Christmas parade.
We went over important upcoming dates again, adjourned the meeting, and went into our committee groups.
Our next meeting will be at First Baptist Church 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8.
