He has stood behind every foreign policy failure, whether it be the genocide in Gaza or submitting to Putin on Ukraine.
He has stood behind every domestic policy failure, whether it be adding $1.8 trillion to the debt so far this year just to give billionaires tax breaks, or the 3% inflation rate and climbing, or the over 4% unemployment rate. One million jobs lost this year.
We haven't even heard a squeak from Smith about the President taking literal bulldozers to the White House just so little Princess Trump can have a $300 million ballroom. Imagine if Obama had done that. Conservatives would lose their freaking minds.
Smith has stood behind the president sending armed troops to our cities. He has stood behind Trump while he put immigrants in concentration camps. He has stood behind Trump while he murdered drug dealers on the open seas.
He has stayed silent while Trump ignored our laws and our courts and is behaving like a mad king.
But it looks like maybe Trump giving billions of dollars to Argentina and agreeing to import their beef has finally been the straw that broke Jason Smith's back. It's really hard to justify Trump screwing over American cattle ranchers. Granted, he still tried to put the blame at Biden's feet. But the man finally said Trump was wrong on something.
