MO State Highway Patrol

According to reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:

• Injuries were reported Friday, May 23, resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 32 four miles east of Salem. A 2002 Peterbilt 379, driven by a 54-year-old Salem man, was eastbound at 1:06 p.m. May 23 when it swerved to avoid another vehicle, ran off right side of roadway striking a tree and a fence. The Salem man suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was transported by Salem Ambulance to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment. The Peterbilt sustained total damage and will be removed from the scene by Chris and Sons Towing.
