The Dent-Phelps R-III Board of Education met May 15 for its regular meeting. In attendance included board members Brandon Schloemer, Adam Parker, Curt Baldwin, Caleb Gidcumb, and Nick Gover. Not in attendance included board members Kelly Chapman and Bill Manthey.
Also attending included superintendent Vicky Brooker and principal Karla Tiefenthaler, who presented the superintendent’s report and principal’s report, accordingly.
In closed session, the board accepted resignations from Stephanie Parsons and Stephanie Dittman.
The board approved the following items:
• Agenda, minutes, and consent agenda containing bills (check #39018 through #39101), open session minutes from April 17, the May financial report, and substitute list additions
• Soliciting bids for milk and propane for the 2025-26 school year
• Setting the June board meeting for 6 p.m. June 24 and paying any critical due date bills early
