Attorney Brandi L. Baird has announced she has filed for the Republican nomination for Division 2 Circuit Judge in Missouri’s 42nd Judicial Circuit Court, which includes Dent, Crawford, Wayne, Iron and Reynolds Counties.
A former Associate Circuit Judge, Baird has been recognized by the Missouri Supreme Court three times for her Administration of Justice while on the bench. Baird also served previously as Dent County Prosecutor handling cases involving murder, sex crimes against children and other serious felonies.
“The conservative principles which guide me are simple: treat everyone equally and fairly, apply the law properly and protect our great constitution. My record has shown that I am firm on crime and I strive to protect the citizens of the community I live in,” said Baird.
In addition to her duties in the legal field, Baird helps run her family’s Missouri Century Farm. She was recently recognized by the Cattlemen’s Association for being a sixth generation Dent County cattle farmer. Along with Cattlemen’s Association, Baird is a member of the NRA and Missouri Farm Bureau.
Baird, her husband Brandon Schloemer of 16 years, and their two sons, Maxton (11) and Madden (7), are active members in the Salem Lutheran Church, where her husband is an elder of the church.
“The safety, security and well-being of my family, friends and community is a priority for me. The position of Circuit Judge is one of authority, but also that of a public servant. I will apply my years of experience to distribute justice fairly, protect our freedoms, and protect the moral fabric of our community to ensure the citizens of the 42nd Circuit have a fair and just legal system.”
