According to reports generated by the Dent County Sheriff’s Office, deputies:
• conducted a traffic stop on S. Jackson Street April 28. During the course of the stop, a 46-year-old Salem man was arrested for Driving Without A Valid License. The suspect was transported to the Dent County Jail where he was processed and issued citations.
• took a report for stolen property from the 12000 block of W. Highway 32 May 3. The items stolen include a rifle, TV, and other items. Suspect information was provided, and the investigation is ongoing.
• took a report for stolen property from the 2000 block of County Road 4060 May 8. The 19-year-old victim advised a known suspect had stolen a .410 shotgun from the location. The investigation is ongoing.
• responded to Salem Memorial Hospital for a reported dog bite that occurred in the 2900 block of Highway 68 May 9. The owner was contacted, and quarantine instructions were provided. This case is closed.
• responded to Salem Memorial Hospital for a reported dog bite that occurred in the 700 block of County Road 3220 May 9. The owner was contacted, and quarantine instructions were provided. This case is closed.
