The Godis enjoy being involved in our community, continued the release.
“They are most proud of the Dent County Toy Drive that they lead. Through donations and a yearly fundraising event “Christmas in July", they, along with volunteers, provide Christmas gifts for over 200 Dent County children.
“Salem should be proud! The toy drive has been supported by our community for over 40 years. We are honored and blessed to be able to continue this tradition by supporting such a worthwhile cause for the children of Dent County," shared Dianne.
Dianne retired from Salem Memorial Hospital after almost 30 years as a medical laboratory technician. She now runs the office for Godi’s Excavating and volunteers in the community. The toy drive is number one, but she also serves on the board for Salem Area Community Betterment Association, Scenic Rivers Industries, Enrichment Services, and Healthy Dent County.
