A Springfield man being treated at the Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health Salem Center was found dead early Saturday during hourly bed checks.

Ramon Kerr, 59, had been a patient at the facility since July 13. He was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m. by the Dent County coroner, Gina White.
