Injuries were reported Sunday, April 28, resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route P approximately a half mile west of County Road 5070, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Dean W. Ramey, 43, of Bunker, was westbound at 7 p.m. April 28 when it failed to negotiate a curve, causing it to travel off the left side of the roadway and overturn.
Ramey and passenger James C. Hobson, 46, of Salem, were ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Both were transported by Salem Ambulance for emergency treatment. Passenger Tenille V. Hobson, 47, of Salem, was transported by Salem Ambulance to Salem Memorial District Hospital.
The Chevrolet sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by American Muffler & Automotive.
A Troop I arrest report released after the crash states Ramey was cited on charges of DWI - alcohol (with serious physical injury), DWI (with physical injury), operating motor vehicle without valid license, failure to drive on right half of roadway resulting in crash, no insurance, failure to display valid plates and no seatbelt.
