We appreciate your patience as we’ve worked to relocate due to storm damage. As many of you already know, we will be holding school at Oak Grove Church in Salem.
On Wednesday, students will begin their day at Oak Hill R-1 for breakfast and orientation in the gymnasium before being bused to Oak Grove. At Oak Hill that morning, buses will enter through the gymnasium door as usual, and student drop-offs will take place at the breezeway door, where Mr. Ed will be stationed. In the afternoon, student pick-up will be at Oak Grove Church on the north side, at the basement doors off Gibbs Street. Starting Thursday morning and on, both drop-off and pick-up will take place at Oak Grove.
Our goal is to maintain as much normalcy as possible. Student drop-off and pick-up will be on the north side of the church at the basement doors, with the same time schedule. Bus drop-off and pick-up will be on the south side, through the gymnasium door off West Hunt Street. We appreciate your patience as we fine-tune the logistics to ensure a smooth transition.
As Oak Grove has generously opened its facilities to us, we ask that students refrain from bringing water bottles or outside drinks. The school district will provide beverages for students. Once again, we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s patience and for the support of individuals and organizations who have donated and assisted us during this challenging time.
