The Dent County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help with any information on a male individual found deceased on the side of the road on Highway DD. The deceased was identified as Ellis L. Stewart, of Salem.
The sheriff's office is looking for a timeline on how he traveled from Anutt to highway DD. Anyone who may have seen him walking or receiving a ride on any of the county roads in the area of Anutt to Highway DD or if any residence in the area had a knock on the door in the time frame between dusk on Jan. 19 to the morning of Jan. 20, please contact the sheriff's office.
