According to reports of Missouri’s 42nd Judicial Circuit:
Charges
• James M. Larson was charged in a May 21 complaint with two felony counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Sentences
• Britta Botkin pled guilty May 22 to possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and was sentenced to seven years under Statute 559.115 as requested by Prosecutor Andrew Curley.
• Ronald Breeding pled guilty May 22 to felony resisting arrest as a persistent felony offender and was sentenced to seven years in the department of corrections as requested by Prosecutor Andrew Curley.
• Trevor Elrod pled guilty May 22 to felony third-degree domestic assault after serving 45 days in the Dent County Jail. Elrod was sentenced to a four-year suspended execution of sentence with five years of probation and parole with no contact with the victim and victim's father.
• Isaac Ghormley pled guilty May 22 to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to a seven-year suspended execution of sentence, five years of probation and parole after serving a jail sentence, as requested by Prosecutor Andrew Curley.
• Bobby Oller had his probation revoked May 22 for felony driving while revoked and possession of a controlled substance. Oller was ordered to serve seven years in the department of corrections as requested by Prosecutor Andrew Curley.
• Kristin Thompson pled guilty May 22 to felony unlawful use of a weapon after serving 24 days in jail. A sentencing hearing was conducted where Prosecutor Andrew Curley sought a four-year suspended execution of sentence due to the nature of the incident, with standard terms of probation and no contact provisions with the victim and his family. Thompson sought a suspended imposition of sentence, with probation. Over objection of the state, Thompson received a suspended imposition of sentence and was placed on probation for a period of five years.
