The Dent County Commission held its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 2. In attendance included presiding commissioner Gary Larson, second district commissioner Gary Polk, and county clerk Angie Curley. First district commissioner Wes Mobray was not in attendance. Also, in attendance included Keith Green, commissioner elect.
Larson, Curley, and treasurer Denita Williams attended the annual MAC conference on Monday, Nov. 25.
In Curley’s reports, payroll is to be approved. She balanced with the treasurer on all monthly accounts.
The commission was presented with a request for a budget amendment for 2024 from the Sheltered Workshop, under the contract services line item. The commissioners approved the request for an amendment, 2-0.
First District Commissioner Wes Mobray
Crews will be cutting brush on County Road 6210. Crew members will also be grading county roads 5180, 6090, and 6210.
Second District Commissioner Gary Polk
Crews will be cutting brush and grading county roads 5310 and 2120. Maintenance will be conducted on grader #42 and #37.
