The Dent County Developmental Disabilities Board met for a special board meeting Monday, Nov. 4.
The members present were Shawn Bolerjack, Grant Hamlet, Ron Hutson, Phil Christesen, Cathy Diehl, and Wendy Pryor. Amanda Sapaugh, Executive Director, was also present. Members not in attendance were Stephanie Floyd and Becky Steiner.
Sapaugh presented the Executive Director Report. Sapaugh discussed the need to amend the budget at the next meeting. Sapaugh also presented an update on Emergency Assistance professionals.
Sapaugh presented bids for the roof replacement on all properties from Hope Construction and Gray Construction L.L.C. Bolerjack motioned to accept the lowest bid from Hope Construction. Hamlet approved the motion, Christesen seconded, and the motion was passed. Hutson voted not to accept.
Sapaugh presented bids for two Certificates of Deposit from The Bank of Salem and Progressive Ozark Bank. Bolerjack motioned to accept the highest bid from Progressive Ozark Bank for two 12-month term Certificate of Deposit accounts with an interest rate of 4.25% with three signers: Amanda Sapaugh, Shawn Bolerjack and Ron Hutson. The primary contact for the account should be Amanda Sapaugh with the responsibility for opening and making changes to the account. The motion passed unanimously.
Reserve Policy was presented for consideration to adopt to the agency bylaws. Bolerjack motioned to table the policy until the next meeting. The motion was passed unanimously.
