According to reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Injuries were reported Thursday, March 27, resulting from a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 72 in front of Salem Memorial District Hospital. A 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a 26-year-old Cuba woman, was westbound at 7:33 a.m. March 27 when it turned into the path of a 2023 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 64-year-old Poplar Bluff man. The Cuba woman and a 54-year-old Poplar Bluff woman riding as a passenger in the Nissan each suffered minor injuries in the crash and were transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
