Montauk State Park will be hosting a volunteer clean-up day following the flood of November from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1. Montauk State Park received extensive damage to the campgrounds, several cabins, the hatchery and the historic mill Nov. 5. Roads were washed away in several areas as well.
Montauk staff ask that interested parties join them 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 to assist in clean-up efforts. Please plan on meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Searcy Building. Parking is available at the Lodge. Sign in at the Montauk State Park Office Building, 345 County Road 6670, Salem, MO.
