Warrants
• Austin L. Cummings, 21, had a warrant issued for his arrest Jan. 25 with bond set at $5,000 cash only. Cummings’ warrant was issued for felony driving with a revoked license.
• Michael Goodman, 23, had a warrant issued for his arrest Jan. 23 with bond set at $50,000 cash only. Goodman’s warrant was issued for felony second degree assault.
The above information is just a mere accusation, and is not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of any charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
Sentences
• James Walker pled guilty to three counts of second degree burglary and three counts of felony stealing Jan. 20. Walker’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 22.
• Jesse Jones pled guilty to assaulting a highway worker Jan. 20. Jones was sentenced to six years in the department of corrections.
In the court of Associate Judge Brandi L. Baird Jan. 21:
• Natalie Weikel waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. The case is bound for circuit court.
• Cody Christopher waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance. The case is bound for circuit court.
• Marvin Remster waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of felony unlawful possession of a firearm.
• Dustin Hodges had his felony abuse or neglect of a child charge dismissed by the prosecuting attorney.
