New Rotary Club of Salem member, Cindy Jones, introduced her husband, Brian, at the Rotary Club meeting Monday, Dec. 1. Cindy spoke about her journey from southern Maryland to Mid Missouri, from homeschool mom and church music director to political and public policy activist and elected official. Cindy serves as the Southeast Region Coordinator for Missouri Right to Life and is launching a podcast at the end of next year.
Brian spoke about his career in the Navy and his work at Patuxent River Naval Air Station as a civil servant, retiring as the Team Lead on the F-35, Joint Strike Fighter, for Reliability and Maintainability Engineering. Brian continues his service to the community through the Fleet Reserve Association, a veterans' organization serving Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.
