A 34-year-old Salem man was among the injured Saturday, July 26, resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 19 in Crawford County three miles south of Steelville, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2002 Honda Accord, driven by an unknown driver, was southbound at 5:15 a.m. July 26 when it began skidding and traveled off the left side of the roadway. before striking a tree, an unoccupied parked car, and the side of a garage. The driver fled the scene before officers' arrival.
