The North Wood R-IV Board of Education met for its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 11. In attendance included board members Ron Hedrick, Jarred Brown, Jr Rictor, David Massengale, and Jenna Dunn. Jeff Dodson, JC Flores, Mike Manes and Lois Stacy were also present. Aaron Brooks and Jimmy Decker were absent.
Manes gave an update on projects, discussing painting the front of the building, parking lot, and propane tank for the FEMA building.
Flores presented MAP data to the board for the 2024-25 school year. He informed the board that the MAP assembly would be Friday, Sept. 19 at 2:45 p.m.
Dodson informed the board that enrollment was at 14 for Pre-K and 157 for K – 8. Attendance was 93.5%.
The business after hours dinner is scheduled for February.
