The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid–Missouri area Nov.17 – 23, 2025.Weather conditions may postpone scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures which could cause delays.
All Counties
In addition to the work listed below, other moving operations such as pothole patching, mowing, and pavement repairs continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.
All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
Dent County
Missouri Routes 19, Routes B, K, and N – Culvert replacements planned Nov. 17 – 21. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Phelps County
Route 8 – Pavement striping planned Nov. 17 – 21 from St. James to the city limits of Potosi in Washington County. One lane will remain open through the work zone.
U.S. Route 63 – Shoulder work planned Nov. 17– 121at County Road 6050. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route T – Culvert replacement planned Nov. 17 – 21 from County Road 7460 to County Road 7400. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route D – Bridge rehabilitation continues over I–44, approximately 7 miles southwest of Doolittle. The bridge is CLOSED, with a signed detour in place.
Route N – Pedestrian facility upgrades continue in Newburg. Work will require temporary closures of pedestrian facilities and intermittent nighttime single-lane closures with flaggers to direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2025.
Missouri Route 72 – Pedestrian facility upgrades continue on Route 72 in Rolla. Work will require temporary closures of pedestrian facilities and intermittent single-lane closures with flaggers to direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2025.
Pulaski County
Missouri Route 7 – Pedestrian facility upgrades continue in Richland at Route A. Work will require temporary closures of pedestrian facilities and intermittent single-lane closures with flaggers to direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2025.
Missouri Route 28 – Pedestrian facility upgrades continue from East A Street to Chestnut Street in Dixon. Work will require temporary closures of pedestrian facilities and intermittent single-lane closures with flaggers to direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2025.
