Megan Seay, Presiding Circuit Judge of the 42nd Judicial Circuit, recently announced the Supreme Court of Missouri awarded the 42nd Judicial Circuit of Missouri with the Daniel J. O’Toole Award. This is a prestigious award that recognizes the circuit’s clearance rate-based achievements in the fiscal year 2023. While it often feels to litigants that the wheels of justice turn slowly, the Supreme Court has recognized that the counties within the 42nd Judicial Circuit are amongst the top counties in Missouri for efficiently processing our cases in a timely manner.

The 42nd Judicial Circuit is Missouri’s largest geographical circuit and includes the counties of Crawford, Dent, Iron, Reynolds, and Wayne. Along with the work of the Division I (Judge Megan Seay) and Division II (Judge Michael Randazzo) Circuit Judges, this award also recognizes the hard work and dedication of each of our Associate Circuit Judges, including Crawford County Associate Circuit Judge Patrick Horsefield; Dent County Associate Circuit Judge Nathan Kelsaw; Iron County Associate Circuit Judge Scott Schrum; Reynolds County Associate Circuit Judge Benjamin Thompson; and Wayne County Associate Circuit Judge Christina Kime.
