Bradley Nash

The case of former Salem mayor Brad Nash is next due in circuit court for a preliminary hearing on April 8. Nash is charged with three felonies including one count of second-degree child molestation and two counts of statutory sodomy - deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old. Nash was granted and has posted a $250,000 bond over the objection of the state.

Court documents allege Nash committed sex crimes against two juvenile victims. The case’s probable cause statement details investigation into Nash was initiated upon a call being made to the Children’s Division abuse hotline and two of Nash’s adopted daughters coming forward to a juvenile officer with allegations against him. The statement cites forensic interviews with the daughters in which they detail Nash would molest them at night and recorded one showering using his cellphone. The dates of the crimes are listed as occurring between April 2022 and April 2023 as well as between June 1 to Aug. 31, 2021.
