Missouri Lawyers Media presented the Hon. Megan K. Seay, the Division I Circuit Judge for the 42nd Judicial Circuit (Dent, Crawford, Iron, Reynolds and Wayne Counties), with a Women’s Justice Award in Public Service at the 25th Annual Women’s Justice Awards ceremony, at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, on the evening of May 18.
The Women’s Justice Awards recognize women across Missouri who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession. The awards reach out to women in various segments of the legal community, including the bar, the bench, public office, business, academia, nonprofits and the state at large. Specifically, Judge Seay’s award in the Public Service category includes women attorneys who work for a non-profit, the government or judiciary, or those who have made a mark in education.
