Serious injuries were reported Wednesday resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 32 eight miles east of Salem, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2010 Dodge Nitro, driven by Arika D. Ballenger, 35, of Poplar Bluff, was westbound at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday when control of the vehicle was lost on a curve, it travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck two signs and a tree.
