For east ward, Kala Sisco has filed to run—Sisco was appointed to that position Aug. 26.
For west ward, no one has filed to run, where both positions are up for election; one will be for a year of service to complete the term of the late Kenny Nash who died in office; the other is a two year term for the position currently held by Greg Parker, who expressed intention to run at the Nov. 9 regular Board of Alderman meeting.
Filing for the April 2022 municipal election opened Tuesday (Dec. 7) and will continue through Dec. 28.
