Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) voted to keep the current slate of officers for a second term at its May 12 board meeting. For the 2022-2023 year, Steve Vogt, representing the city of Belle, will continue to serve as chairman. Mary Heywood, representing the unemployed, will serve a second term as vice-chairman; Gasconade County Presiding Commissioner Larry Miskel will continue as secretary, and Osage County Presiding Commission Darryl Griffin will serve another year as treasurer.
The board also re-appointed at-large representatives whose terms were expiring. They are Ray Schwartze, for-profit for Maries County; Rich Eisterhold, for-profit for Osage County; Jake Harlan, for-profit for Phelps County; Brenda Doyle, representing seniors; Earl Brown, representing people with disabilities; Shane Anselm, representing labor; and Tammy Bruckerhoff, representing tourism. At-large representatives serve three-year terms.
