Bunker boy seriously injured in crash

Injuries were reported Sunday, July 6, resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on County Road 5610 eight miles west of Bunker, according to an online report of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2025 Can-Am Defender HD10, driven by a 12-year-old boy from Mocksville, North Carolina, was westbound at 4:30 p.m. July 6 when it traveled around a corner, began sliding and overturned.
A 14-year-old Bunker boy riding as a passenger suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported by Bunker Fire Department to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment.
The Can-Am sustained minor damage and was removed from the scene by a private party.
