A meeting of the Dent County Fire Protection District Board of Directors was held on Sept. 12 at the firehouse in Salem.
The meeting was called to order at 6:06 p.m.
Present were members Dave Wells, Craig Smith, David Greenshields, Mike Godi, and Leigh Ann Price.
A motion was made and carried all to approve the consent agenda. Minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed and approved, and a financial report was given with an ending balance of $145,732.25. Bills, payments, and statements were reviewed and approved, along with the budget.
Treasurer Dave Wells reminded the board that money will have to be transferred from the general account to a different account for the upcoming loan payment for the renovation loan. A motion was made and carried unanimously to transfer $41,000 from Town & Country Bank to an account for loan payments with Progressive Ozark Bank.
The calendar was reviewed.
A monthly reimbursement report was given, with a total of 18 calls for the month and 200 total calls for the year.
During old business, Engine 85 was discussed. The engine is waiting still waiting for parts, and the motor mounts are being manufactured.
There was no new business.
During the Chief’s report, Chief Brad Nash said that turnout gear has been ordered including rental gear which was set to arrive that week. He said new replacement gear is six months out.
The date for the next meeting was set as Oct. 10, at 6 p.m. at the DCFPD firehouse.
The motion was made to adjourn at 6:54 p.m., which passed unanimously.
