According to reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Injuries were reported Thursday, July 25, resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 32 near County Road 5110. A 2013 Harley Davidson, driven by James T. Shull, 82, of Salem, was eastbound at 1:20 p.m. July 20 when it went off left side of roadway, striking a tree and ejecting its driver. Shull received serious injuries in the crash and was flown by Air Evac to Mercy St. Louis for treatment. The Harley Davidson sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
