On Nov. 24, a coordinated investigation involving the Salem Police Department, the Dent County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rolla Area Drug Enforcement Task Force resulted in the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant in the 400 block of West Ninth Street.
During the operation, officers located and detained five individuals on the property. A subsequent search of the residence led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana laced with methamphetamine, and various items of drug paraphernalia. All substances were field-tested and returned positive results for the presence of methamphetamine.
The following individuals have been charged in connection with this investigation:
• Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location
• Delivery of a Controlled Substance
• Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Jail Facility
$100,000 CASH/SURETY BOND warrant
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
• Keep or Maintain a Public Nuisance
$50,000 CASH/SURETY BOND warrant
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Resisting/Interfering with Arrest
$10,000 CASH/SURETY BOND warrant
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
One subject was released without charges.
