Governor Mike Parson announced today (Friday) that the Department of Natural Resources awarded $410 million to assist Missouri communities with improved drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, as well as lead service line inventories.
DNR announced availability of funds for community water infrastructure grants in May. The application period closed July 14.
The city of Salem was scored and ranked for three of the grants:
