A special session of the Oak Hill Board of Education was called to order at 6:34 p.m. March 1 by board president Nathan Ragsdale.
Members present were Ragsdale, Amanda Dooley, Sarah Hoffman, Amanda Sapaugh, Tela Connors and Nikki Eaton. Superintendent Aibeen Holland was present, and Amanda Dooley took minutes. Visitors included Maria Jessen, Steven Thompson, and Breanna Taylor.
The board voted to accept the agenda with the addition of APR score review and contracts. Minutes from the February board meeting were reviewed and accepted as presented.
During a closed session, the board voted to accept the resignation of James Reese as a Board member and Jennifer Connell as Assistant Cook effective immediately.
No action was taken by the board on the purchase of a new bus.
The board opened sealed bids and accepted the bid from Kaleb Grimm of $30 for the purchase of a used steam table.
Recently released APR scores were reviewed and discussed.
The board voted to amend future certified staff contracts to include provisions for early contract termination considerations and termination.
The board voted to adjourn the meeting at 9:31 p.m.
