The Eighth Annual Salem Chamber Rodeo will be held Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at Dent County Commons.
“Sponsorship opportunities are still available,” said Tabatha Utley, Salem Chamber Director.
“We are so excited to bring back the rodeo again this year,” she shared.
The event has been well attended since its beginning and several vendors with food and other items will be on the grounds.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with family activities available.
Outlaw/5J Rodeo Productions presents the rodeo each year and plans to return. Standard events include bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, calf roping, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, team roping and barrel racing.
The event is sanctioned with the International Pro Rodeo Association and Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association.
