A Salem man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of DWI following a one-vehicle motor crash on Highway 19 nine miles south of Salem, according to online reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Zachary L. Quick, 28, was taken into custody at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday on charges of DWI - aggravated offender (alcohol), driving while revoked and careless and imprudent resulting in a crash.
A Troop I crash report states Quick was southbound at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday operating a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck when it traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, travelled off the left side of the road and overturned.
Quick received minor injuries in the crash and was transported by Salem Ambulance to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment.
The Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
The highway patrol was assisted on the call by the Dent County Sheriff's Office.
