A Poplar Bluff man pled guilty Tuesday to two sex crime felonies and received the full sentence possible for each, according to a press released from the Dent County Prosecutor’s Office.
Marvin Stephens, 42, pled guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography during circuit court proceedings held in Crawford County. Judge Kelly Parker subsequently sentenced Stephens to 14 years in the department of corrections, seven years for each count. Both counts are Class-D felonies with seven years in prison being the full amount possible pursuant to State Statute 559.115.
