The Dent-Phelps R-III Board of Education met July 14. Members present at the meeting were Brandon Schloemer, Adam Parker, Kelly Chapman, Bill Manthey, Curt Baldwin, Nick Gover, Vicky Brooker, and Denny Melvin. Caleb Gidcumb was absent.
At the meeting the board:
• unanimously approved setting the tax rate levy hearing for Aug. 18,
• unanimously approved the purchase of a window laminate for the entryway doors and issuing the down payment,
• walked through the facility before receiving reports from Melvin and Brooker.
The meeting went into closed session at 6:54 p.m. and the meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
