According to reports from the Dent County Sheriff’s Office:
• Deputies responded to the 300 block of County Road 4180 Dec. 27, 2023, for a reported domestic disturbance. The victim, a 21-year-old Salem woman, advised her 24-year-old boyfriend had broken her car window when she attempted to leave the location. The victim did not wish to pursue criminal charges and the parties were separated.
• Deputies responded to the 400 block of County Road 5090 Jan. 1, for a trespassing complaint. A 36-year-old Salem woman stated her neighbor, a 40-year-old Salem man, entered her property without permission. The suspect was arrested, transported to the Dent County Jail and released on a criminal citation. Later the same day, the suspect was again arrested for trespassing at the same location and rearrested, being placed on a 24-hour hold pending application of warrants.
• a deputy responded to Highway 119 and County Road 6090 Jan. 4 for a reported wanted subject. The suspect, a 49-year-old Licking man, was arrested and transported to the Dent County Jail where he was incarcerated on the warrant.
